Ray Lichtman, Founder and Chief Executive Office of OMAIUSA, was born in New York City in 1945. A student at the Bronx High School of Science and Phillips Exeter Academy, Ray achieved his Bachelor of Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA at Columbia University in 1968.
Ray comes from a family where his father was a doctor and his mother a teacher. This instilled in him at an early age the drive and focus necessary to help build success in everyone he has worked with.
Immediately after graduation, Ray joined IBM as a marketing representative in New York covering Government, Education and Health-Care accounts. For the major part of his IBM career he was the Senior Marketing Rep focused on new business in the Financial Sector.
During his IBM career Ray Lichtman achieved 20 100% clubs, 6 Golden Circles, and 2 Eagle Awards. In 1992 he created OMAIUSA – a rentable virtual salesforce linking professionals throughout the US and Canada. In 1993 OMAIUSA was featured in the Small Business section of Crain’s New York Business magazine.
OMAIUSA clients range from management consultants, start-ups, partners and resellers through the Fortune 50. Ray continues to position the company as a logical substitute for in-house cold-calling, scripted telemarketers, or adding staff.
Ray is a classically trained pianist spending time at both The Juilliard School and Mannes School in New York City. His passions include spending time with his family, music and the arts, animal rescue, and comedy.
