Raymond T. Lichtman

Ray Lichtman, founder and president of OMAI, was born in New York in 1945. A student at the Bronx HS of Science and Phillips Exeter Academy, Ray achieved his Bachelor of Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA at Columbia University in 1968.

Immediately after graduation, Ray joined IBM as a marketing representative in New York covering Government, Education and Health-Care accounts. For the major part of his IBM career he was the senior marketing rep focused on new business in the Financial Sector.

Achievements

Ray achieved 20 100% clubs, 6 Golden Circles, and 2 Eagle Awards during his stay with IBM.  In 1992 he created OMAI –  Outsource Marketing Associates – a rentable virtual salesforce linking professionals throughout the US and Canada.

OMAI clients range from start-ups, partners and resellers through the Fortune 50. Ray continues to position OMAI as a logical substitute for in-house cold-calling, scripted telemarketers, or adding staff.  A cost-effective front-end to inside sales teams, empowering them to focus on closing business.

Personal

Ray was also trained in classical piano at the Juilliard School and Mannes School in New York. His passions include his family, music, and helping OMAI expand service levels and providing work opportunities to professionals, early retirees, veterans, and other key constituencies.

Ray comes from a family of doctors and teachers, a culture that has contributed to his helping build skills of those who join OMAI at various stages of their professional lives.
